The Rotary Downtown club took us to visit theirservice project haemodialysis center located in the Sindhi Charitable Hospital. The hospital was started in 1971 and now has 100 beds with an additional 100 bed wing planned for inauguration in 2010. Their normal cost for one dialysis visit is 1, 000 - 1,500 Rupees. (approx. $20 - $30) However, many patients receive free treatments or a subsidized fee of 650 Rupees.
