Here you see the Rotary District 3190 GSE team standing on a rock in Lake Superior during their visit in Duluth last week. Duluth is a large shipping port city in northeastern Minnesota. How did they get to the rock without getting wet?! The five "great lakes" of the US are: Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior. (Hint: HOMES)

Was up in Duluth the autumn before last (I have family in Minneapolis). The leaves were changing...gorgeous. Had the best pie ever up there..
ReplyDeleteLived in Duluth for at least four years in the early 40s. It was colder then! And these folks better not fall off that rock 'cause hypothermia will get 'em in about 40 seconds.
ReplyDeleteNot that Lake Superior is cold, or anything...
